Elder Joseph Brown was born June 04, in the Grays Hill Community of Beaufort, South Carolina to the late Ike and Mrs. Margaret J. Brown.
Educational Pilgrimage
He was educated in Beaufort County Public School system and graduated from Battery Creek High School in 1979. He enlisted in the United States Army, where he mastered Combat Communications. His military achievements include but are not limited to; the National Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Bronze Service Star and the ARCOM (Army Commendation Medal). Among his other educational accomplishments are; certificate of completion in the "Revelation Bible Seminar", 1985; and a Bachelor of Theology, More than conquerors School of Theology, Portage Indiana, 2006.
Spiritual Pilgrimage
Elder Joseph Brown was saved in February of 1984 under the leadership if the late Reverend J. L. Davenport in Lawton, Oklahoma. He received and accepted his calling in 1986 at the Ernest Ludwig Kaserne (ELK) Chapel in Darmstadt, West Germany under Bishop Burton. He was licensed to preach the gospel in 1987 by Pastor R. Johnson and ordained an Elder in the Church of God in Christ in 1996 by Bishop J. J. Johnson, Bishop of the South Carolina Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ. God elevated him in March 1997 and he was appointed Pastor of the Charity Inspirational Church of God in Christ in Beaufort, South Carolina.
His Leadership
Elder Joseph Brown has held and serves in many Local District and Jurisdictional position. In addition to being a Pastor, he has served as an Associate Pastor, Budget and Finance Chairman, and Sunday School teacher. He is a member of the Jurisdictional Ordination Board and Finance Committee and served as the Vice President of the Pastors and Elder Council. He was elevated on July 26, 2013 to the office of Superintendent of the New Southern District Churches of God in Christ by the Prelate Bishop Johnnie James Johnson of the South Carolina Jurisdiction Church of God in Christ.
His Family
He has been married to Evangelist Voncile Brown for over 30 years. They have one daughter, whose name is Taneha and a host of Spiritual "adopted" sons and daughters.

Elect Lady Voncile Brown
Elect Lady Voncile Brown is a native of Henderson, North Carolina, born the tenth child of twelve to Willie Heyward and Mary Elizabeth on June 26. She was educated in the public school system in Vance County and graduated from Vance Senior High School. Upon completion of high School, she tried various professions; i.e. clerical, technical and electrical to mention a few, not being satisfied with the "status quo", she decided to join the United States Army to become all that she could be.
In September of 1980, she enlisted in the United States Army where she masters Telecommunications. Her military achievements include but are not limited to; The overseas Service Ribbon, Drivers Badge, Army Achievement Medal, The Army Lapel Button and the Army Good Conduct Medal (Clasp Second Award). Among her other educational accomplishments are numerous awards and certificates in Early Childhood Development, she holds an International Diploma in Child Day Care and an Associate of Public Service in Early Care and Education.
Elect Lady Voncile Brown was reared in the Cotton Memorial United Presbyterian Church where she attended Junior church, and serves as a junior usher, however it was not until January 01, 1984 that she accepted Jesus Christ as her savior under the pastorate of the late; reverend Jessie Lee Davenport. She was licensed as an Evangelist Missionary in the Church of God in Christ in 1990 under the late-Mother Gwendolyn Howard; Supervisor of Southeastern Georgia Jurisdiction.
Elect Lady Voncile Brown serves in many positions in her local and district church, in addition to being the wife of our Pastor, she serves as the secretary of the New Southern District, she is the chairlady for the Business and Professional Women's Federation of the New Southern District, the secretary of her local assembly, the chairlady for the local women's department and she teaches the local prayer and Bible Study session weekly. She is licensed by the state of South Carolina as the operator and director of "Brown's Day Care", where she molds and shapes our future generations.
She has been married to her husband of her youth for over 30 years and to this union, God blessed with an angel named Taneha. Elect Lady Voncile Brown is life a fresh and lovely rose, that the angels plant and God chose. She is a women who fears the Lord.
